SyncSport Terms of Service

Effective date: 23 October 2026

These terms are a legal agreement between you and the independent developer who builds and runs SyncSport ("we", "us"). They cover the SyncSport apps for iOS and Android, this website and related services (together, "SyncSport" or "the service"). By creating an account or using SyncSport, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. Who can use SyncSport

  • You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age in your country.
  • If you're under the age of adulthood where you live, your parent or guardian must agree to these terms for you.
  • If you use SyncSport for a club, school or other organisation, you confirm you're allowed to accept these terms on its behalf.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your sign-in details secure.
  • You're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@syncsportapp.com if you think someone else has used it.
  • You can delete your account at any time in the app (Profile › Remove Account).

3. Groups, coaches and players

  • Owners and roles. The person who creates a group is its owner. Owners decide who joins, which roles members have, and what each role can see and do.
  • Coaches' responsibility for player information. Coaches and owners are responsible for the information they add about their players: names, jersey numbers, positions, availability (such as "injured"), attendance and notes. Only add it with the player's agreement, or with a parent's or guardian's agreement for a minor.
  • What members can see. Content shared to a group is visible to its members, according to their roles. Anyone with an invite link can ask to join, so share links only with people you trust. You can rotate a link to stop old links from working.
  • Leaving a group. If you leave or are removed from a group, you lose access to its content.

4. Your content

  • You own the content you create, such as plays, drawings, notes, session summaries and match notes ("your content").
  • What you let us do with it. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, display and share your content. This licence is only for running SyncSport for you and for the people you share with, and it ends when your content is deleted. It doesn't cover backup copies, which are overwritten on a regular cycle.
  • Your rights to share it. You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload or import, and that it doesn't break the law or anyone else's rights.

5. Acceptable use

Do not:

  • break the law, or use SyncSport to harass, threaten, discriminate against or exploit anyone, especially minors;
  • upload content that is illegal, hateful, sexually explicit or violent, or that infringes someone else's rights;
  • share other people's personal information without their permission;
  • access accounts, groups or data you're not allowed to;
  • get around plan limits, security or app integrity checks;
  • reverse engineer, scrape, overload or disrupt the service, except where the law allows;
  • resell or commercially exploit SyncSport without our written permission.

We may remove content that breaks these terms, and limit, suspend or close accounts that do.

6. Plans and purchases

Free plan. SyncSport is free to start, with limits on saved plays, groups, roster size and some features. Those limits are shown in the app and may change.

Personal Pro and Personal Ultimate are one-time purchases for your account. They stay unlocked for as long as the service operates and your account exists.

Group Pro is an auto-renewing subscription for one group, billed monthly or yearly:

  • Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
  • It renews automatically unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
  • You can manage or cancel it in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Deleting your account or a group does not cancel the subscription.
  • The group's owner who buys Group Pro can move it to another group they own, as described in the app.

Prices. Prices are shown in the app before you buy, in your local currency. Taxes may apply.

Refunds. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their own policies. We can't issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.

When a plan ends.

  • If a subscription ends or a purchase is refunded, your account or group returns to the free plan.
  • Content over the free limits is locked, not deleted. It becomes available again when you upgrade.

Restoring purchases. You can restore past purchases on a new device from the app's settings or the upgrade screen.

7. Notifications

If you allow it, SyncSport sends push notifications about your groups, sessions, matches and plays. You can choose which ones you get in the app, or turn them off in your device settings.

8. Changes to the service

  • The service may change. We're always improving SyncSport, so features may be added, changed or removed.
  • If we close the service. We'll give you reasonable notice before we shut it down, so you can download your data.
  • App updates. We may require you to update the app to keep using it.

9. Ending these terms

  • You can stop using SyncSport and delete your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other users. Where it's reasonable, we'll tell you why first.
  • What continues after. Sections 4 (the licence, until your content is deleted), 10, 11 and 13 continue to apply after these terms end.

10. Disclaimers

  • SyncSport is a planning and communication tool. It doesn't give medical, fitness or safety advice. You're responsible for how training and matches are run, and for the safety of the people taking part.
  • The service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • we aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for lost profits, data or goodwill;
  • our total liability for any claim about the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or USD 50.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

12. Apple App Store terms

If you downloaded SyncSport from the Apple App Store, these terms also apply:

  • Who the agreement is with. These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for SyncSport or its content.
  • Licence. Your licence to use the app is limited to Apple-branded devices you own or control, as the App Store Terms of Service allow.
  • Maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
  • Warranty. If the app fails to meet an applicable warranty, you can tell Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price of the app. Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app, to the extent the law allows.
  • Claims. Apple isn't responsible for any claims about the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, and consumer protection or privacy claims.
  • Intellectual property. Apple isn't responsible for investigating, defending, settling or discharging any claim that the app infringes someone else's intellectual property rights.
  • Legal compliance. You confirm you're not located in a country subject to a US government embargo, and you're not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
  • Third-party beneficiaries. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

If you downloaded SyncSport from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply to your use of the store and to purchases.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, and disputes will be handled by the competent courts of the Republic of Armenia. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts.

Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us first. Most issues can be solved quickly.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version at this address and update the effective date. If the changes are significant, we'll tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using SyncSport after that, you accept the new terms.
